As you know, I didn't like the new Sally design. It may change, it may not change, we'll have to see. Anyway here's my idea for a Sally design. As a younger SEGAMew, whenever I see Tails's ingame sprite in Sonic 2, I envisioned it a little pointy rather than tufty. Sally
s tufts looked like that on occassion too as well in the cartoon. Soooo decided to apply that in this picture. I can't live without some form of fuzzy on her cheeks!

As for the outfit, she looks like a fighter pilot ranger or something, especially with that color scheme o_O But anyway, I can't find myself liking the shorts. Too bland and too teeny bopper (I'm not a fan of Amy's red outfit either). Decided to go with a little something more reminiscent of her baggy princess Jasmine pants, but it does look a bit awkward with combined with boots. Boots must stay no matter what! Ah well.

I have no problem with the new look. I have a feeling Sally will be incorporated in a future game and the new look is part of the idea.

"Baggy Princess Jasmine pants." I like it, maybe taken to a cargo pants level. It would give her some place to keep Nicole other than the top of one of her boots.

Personally, I don't have much of a problem with it. There's nothing really about it that I can think of that looks... BAD. The roundish muzzle works, the color scheme contrast well with her fur, I like this design too but either or could work for me. I guess I'm just no SatAM Purist xD

I noticed the similarities with the cheekfuzzless of both Sallys. I'm not fond of pink Sally myself either still =P There is a reason why brown Sally is preferred for animation.

I personally prefer the smoother cheeks because it makes them look like puffier squirrel like cheek. I've always had this in-joke that Sally can really stuff some stuff in there if she wanted and while trying to draw that, the fuzz made it a bit difficult. But that's not saying you couldn't make it work. That's just me saying how incompetent an artist I am.
