This is my entry to 's 2nd Mini Contest thingy. Well, I think it's the second anyway.

Here are two twin canaries named Sky and Fly. They're wearing a Vietnamese outfit called "Ao Dai". Ao is pronounced like "ow" and Dai is pronounced like "yai". Yeah the D means a Y sound. There's another D looking letter in the alphabet that makes the D sound, but I'm not going to teach you the Viet Alphabet now >__>

When literally translating, ao dai means 'shirt long'... or long shirt. We put adjectives after the noun. When wearing the ao dai, you also wear pants. The guy version of this is basically the same, except less... embroidered and has a smaller hat. Also, the hat is designed so you can have your bun or pony tail sticking out. Very convenient for these two girls! Also, there are many many designs of the ao dai, even some that I never seen before... though I do question whether those can be authentically be called ao dai >.>; Oh, these are basically the Vietnamese equivilant to the Japanese Kimono.

As for the strange colorness, I try to imitate one of those old oriental paintings or something.

Con Chim means something like Little Bird or something. Chim is bird, con is like a prefix type of word that signifies a young person or animal.

I wonder if any of you noticed that I drew slightly different eye shape styles between the two >3>;
