.:Fix-it-Tastic:. NonDairy Root Beer Float

One night, at Tapper's Fix-it Felix Jr. ordered a Root Beer float. Nearby, Turbo took notice of the handy man and decided to bother him (he gets a kick out of making fun of the goody two shoes, plus Felix isn't a Tapper regular). He then noticed a second straw in Felix's beverage.

"Hey Pixel Brain, is there a reason why there's two straws comin' out of your kiddy drink?"
"Well... I was feelin' kinda bad 'bout you eatin' and not likin' my pie Mary made me... so I was hoping I could spare a drink with ya to make it up!"

Turbo raised an eyebrow. Sure he kinda stole Felix's hero pie and took a bite before realizing Felix is lactose intolerant, but he felt that whole scene wasn't a very big deal. It's not like he made the brunette cry or anything as far as he could tell. Turbo sat next to Felix and took the spare straw in his fingers. He eyed Felix before speaking.

"I'm not gonna get a mouthful of cardboard again am I?"

Felix smiled as he took another sip out of his draw. "I requested Tapper to use a nondairy alternative ice cream and add more sugar to compensate for its generally lacking taste."

Turbo felt a little uneasy. "MORE sugar? Root Beer isn't exactly the most sugar-free drink you dunce!"

Felix twirled his straw, chuckling quietly as he made one of the most goofiest grins Turbo has ever seen. And Turbo has seen many goofy grins out of the handy man.

"Jus' try it, neighbor! Ah promise yer tastebuds won't fall off."

Turbo wasn't sure what's bothering him more; the thought of a sugar-high Fix-it Felix Jr. or his friend talking like a country hick for the rest of the night. He shook his head, pushing the thoughts from his head. He eventually place his lips over his own straw and took a sip of the sugary concoction.

"It's... not bad. For somethin' without milk in it."
