Due to popular demand on deviantART over the past two years, I decided, in light of the upcoming "Sonic Generations" game, to create a comic based on my idea I had in my mind for the past ten years.

Long Synopsis: Sonic the Hedgehog had it all, fame, status, timelessness, and love from his fans and those around him at SEGA. But what happens when things start to look dark for SEGA as the age of the SEGA Saturn sets in? It was pretty dark... until SEGA brought forth the SEGA Dreamcast, along with a brand new Sonic specifically tailored to continue on the legacy of the original Sonic into the new age, but with a much sleeker design that just screams "Cool, awesome, and fast!"

The Classic Sonic was at first fearful of this new sleeker Modernized Sonic stealing away his spotlight he worked so hard to earn for the past 7 years, but Modern Sonic assured him that everything will be alright. So eventually, they became very great friends. Things were looking up again for Sonic since the dark days of the SEGA Saturn.

Unfortunately nothing can last forever. SEGA announced that it'll no longer be a 1st party publisher, but now a 3rd party. Classic Sonic has dealt with dark times before so is able to cope with this, but Modern Sonic felt that he has failed to save SEGA from this pit.

Classic Sonic noticed Modern Sonic's sadness, but he has no idea of how shattered Modern Sonic has become as the years go by...

tl:dr/Shorter summary: This is a comic about Classic Sonic and Modern Sonic and how they interact with eachother and their lives as SEGA Mascots over the years. Modern Sonic becomes mentally unstable from abandonment issues, failing his mission, and exposure to horrible marketing strategies. Will Classic Sonic be able to pull him out of this spike filled pit Modern Sonic has fallen into?

Note: I'm aware Sonic CD was released in September 1993. Let's just say development took THAT long. Not uncommon seeing as more than half of the Sonic Team are in the USA LOL.
